Apply skills in small
peer groups
Enhance workshops with team upskilling, giving participants the opportunity to put what they’ve learned into practice in their specific roles. For example, after management training, offer team team development for R&D managers to strengthen their leadership skills with engineers.

Build a well-connected workforce

Team upskilling creates an intimate environment that fosters peer-to-peer communication and stronger relationships, leading to improved collaboration, higher productivity, and greater overall effectiveness.

We needed a platform that could help us address two big development challenges; we could work in a very targeted fashion toward helping employees make those gradual leaps. It’s about realizing that success comes from taking small steps each day.”

What’s the difference between an expert and a coach?

Growthspace experts differ from traditional coaches by offering highly specialized knowledge in specific skill sets aligned with business needs. While many of our experts hold certifications such as ICF, IAF, or SHRM, we do not limit expertise to one type of certification, ensuring flexibility and a broader range of skills. This allows us to match participants with the best-fit expert for their unique needs, going beyond conventional coaching approaches.

What topics do you support with team development?

We have a list of in-demand topics for your convenience, and each is based on multiple skill sets. You can also work with an expert to offer a customized topic tailored to your organizational context and teams’ real-life situations.

What’s considered a team for team development?

A team is any group of up to six employees who share a desired outcome. It could be an HR team that wants to improve its internal consulting capabilities, a cross-functional team that’s been tasked with a shared project, mid-level managers that need to drive team performance, or a group of individuals working on their communication skills. We find this group size ideal for discussing concrete issues and coming up with actionable plans in an intimate setting that promotes collaboration and accountability.

Do team leaders attend the sessions?

Yes, the manager meets the expert before the program to provide information about the team, their challenges, behaviors, and routines. In that way, they set the program’s goals and guide the discussion, after which they attend the sessions with the team.

How do you match an expert to a team?

Our AI-based matching algorithm takes into account the programs’ desired outcome and topic, the team’s background, location, language, and learning styles, and the experts’ expertise. All of these put together guarantee the best-fit expert to lead the sessions.

What’s the time commitment required from participants?

Team coaching typically consists of five one-hour sessions, so overall five hours. Experts may provide resources or short assignments between sessions, and we ask participants to provide feedback. All in all, it’s a focused program with a limited time commitment.
